Why Quinoa?

Versatility You Need

Quinoa is a versatile grain that can be used for quick serve or grab-and-go breakfasts, added to hot bars, or used in salad counters.

Reduces Food Waste & Labor

Consistent yield – no rinsing or draining needed. Less prep = less labor.

Supports Healthier Menus

Quinoa is nutrient-dense, naturally gluten-free, and a complete protein that aligns with students’ growing preference for plant-forward, clean-label, and functional foods.

Reliable Consistency

You don’t have to worry about undercooked or overcooked grains. We create the right texture every time.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Fully Cooked Quinoa
  • 3 apples (about 3 cups, chopped)

  • 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon (extra for topping)
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • Honey to taste

  2. Add butter into skillet. After the butter is melted, stir in apples. Heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft.
  3. Add quinoa, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Cook for about 5 more minutes, stirring every minute until the apples reach your desired softness.
  5. Dish into individual bowls.
