Sarah has had the great fortune of working with food her entire career. Getting her start as a cooking school manager with a small grocery company, confirmed that the food industry was for her. She went on to work with the Ohio Beef Council and then the Certified Angus Beef brand helping consumers understand how best to prepare different cuts of beef. She then turned her attention toward the center of the store while at The J.M. Smucker Company managing their consumer test kitchen. While there Sarah contributed her expertise toward the creation of culinary content, product training and product development for baking ingredients, nut butters and fruit spreads.
Sarah values teamwork and enjoys working with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal. As innovation manager at Sandridge, she helps to deliver product in support of the portfolio, influences business-building food ideas, and maintains business continuity with process and product development.
Sarah likes helping people enjoy great food—whether it’s creating engaging content to build awareness, developing recipes or simply sharing food with family and friends. Food brings people together and it’s great to be a part of that!
Socializing with family and friends is how Sarah likes to spend her time. From cocktails on the patio to traveling near and far to book club and weeding the garden. She is always up for an adventure; helping in any way; and is always down for a conversation.
