Green Bean Pasta

Healthy and easy, one-pot pasta skillet! 


  • 2 lb. Fully Cooked Penne Pasta
  • 3 C. Seasoned Green Beans
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • zest of 1 large lemon
  • 3 C. packed baby arugula
  • chopped fresh basil, for serving
  • sliced almonds, for serving


  1. Add the olive oil to a large, deep nonstick skillet set over medium heat. When hot, add onion and cook for about 2 minutes.

  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.

  3. Add green beans, penne, arugula, salt and pepper and mix to combine.

  4. Continue to cook, uncovered for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the arugula is wilted.

  5. Remove from heat, garnish with the fresh basil and nuts, then serve!
